Professional History

Cheryl grew up in Wausau, WI, and moved to MA in 1998. After thirteen and a half years there, Cheryl and her husband moved back to WI three years ago to be closer to family.

Cheryl has been a nurse for 6 ½ years, after working in the business world for a number of years, holding various positions, including finance director of a school in MA.

Nursing has always been something Cheryl wanted to pursue, and she decided when her youngest child was in high school, that she wanted to obtain her nursing degree. After graduating with Honors, Cheryl worked two years on a medical/surgical ward in a MA hospital, and then became an infusion therapy nurse at a rheumatology/internal medicine office. After moving back to WI, Cheryl became the only nurse for an internal medicine physician in downtown Milwaukee.

Now that Cheryl lives in Lake Country, she wanted a job closer to home and even though she works occasionally in downtown Milwaukee, she is very excited to be working for Advanced Lipidology. She has a special interest in working for an office using advanced lab technology and genetics and biology to help manage patient care.
